LCD Monitor Solarism LM1503 15"
ABT is an acronym for Advance Brightness Technology. Advance Brightness Technology is the combination of Solarism inverter control module and Solarism patented backlight technology. The ABT enables LCD monitor to perform on a high-end graphical level and deliver a crispy clear image. To put things into perspective, a regular LCD monitor has the brightness of 200-250 nits. The Solarism Display monitor has the brightness of an incredible 800 nits! Solarism monitor can deliver the "true" color by expanding the color domain. The red color appears to be "redder" and the green color appears to be "greener". The brightness magnifies the intensity of the color and makes digital images look more vivid and colorful!
All of Solarism LCD monitors are manufactured with ABT. The ABT widens the viewing angle (160o horizontal and 120o vertical) by improving the image quality and increasing the contrast ratio from typical 300:1 to 350:1. Solarism multiple lamp CCFL inverter module permits the monitor to adjust from a wide range of dimming ratio of 100:1 (100 steps). The inverter module only consumes one third of the CRT power consumption, but it delivers 2x brighter than the CRT.
The History of ABT
Advance Brightness Technology was originated from VHB (Very High Brightness) technology for sunlight readable application. Many of today's products such as digital aircraft gauges, ATM (Automated Teller Machine), car TV/navigation system, kiosk, information terminal display, POS (Point of Sales) applications, and recreational display implement this technology. The above applications demand high brightness and quality display to demonstrate the imaginary that are required to deliver the information or picture clearly to the targeted audience.
Solarism Display decided to implement VHB technology into the consumer usage applications. Solarism monitor is "sunlight friendly" because it can be used under any environment without losing too much visibility.
